just don't realize how lucky we are!
$400 rebate checks from the government for every Alberta, a debt free province, just over 3% unemployment, $60 plus per barrel of oil and the list goes on! Until you talk to someone from out of the province, you don't realize how well Alberta is doing compared to not only other provinces, but US states as well. Alberta is simply blowing the doors off of all the other provinces and states as far as growth and opportunities go. The US just announced in the spring that they were budgeting $253 billion dollars for capital projects and road repair. That is a huge number! Well to put it in perspective, Alberta has just topped $100,000,000,000 in capital projects on the books. This is incredible when you start comparing it with what is going on elsewhere. No other state or province in North America is debt free like Alberta. In fact this years surplus money of over $8 billion is more than Saskatchewan's entire budget. All of this great news translates into an incredible future for the Alberta Real Estate market for the next many years. With opportunity abounding here, we will continue to see more people moving to Alberta, more jobs, and with that continuing rising property prices!
